Exercise Time

Have you ever noticed that there are a lot of slimming shows on TV nowadays? Yes, there are. Recently, one woman who used to weigh 110kg lost weight to a svelte 57kg. She amazingly shed almost half of her weight!!!

That set me thinking; I should perhaps lose some weight off my ballooning tummy or at least be healthier. Then I looked at my brother – he was almost 100kg before he went into army, lost some 15-18kg. Now, he has an even better figure than me, maintaining his figure at about 75-80kg. How did he do it? He jogged or ran every night especially since he was released from NS. My relatives who have not seen him for one or two months or even more were all extremely shocked by how different he looks now. Very toned! I guess he wants to go to university with a good bod and a good face to charm girls. Hehe. So do I. I want a good bod and pretty face to charm Guy(s).

Well, exercise is not only good for the body as it releases endomorphins (hormones that make you happy), exercise also improves complexion and gives you a toned body. Lately, my face broke out really badly because I went for a freaking sauna. I will not go for a sauna again. Hopefully, the exercise and face creams will clear my face up real soon. Good bye to unwanted pimples. Gosh, I feel like a teenager now.

Anyway I have decided, I shall follow my brother to exercise every night or every alternate. Of course I shall begin by brisk walking and maybe later some jogging but not too much as jogging is not good for the knees. If night exercise doesnt work out, I will try early morning exercise. Hehe. In addition, I will try to swim at least twice a month. For this, I have prepared myself by buying some sports gear. To date, I have bought a sweatshirt, sports shorts and temporarily relying on my old trusty sports shoes and socks.

Right, I am all set! A healthy lifestyle, toned legs, toned arms, taut tummy, here I come!!
