Scooted off to Malaysia during the weekend for an eating and shopping holiday (albeit in JB only) and got back home on Wednesday. It was great not working when you are supposed to be working though my short holiday was not that exciting; did not buy much stuff; it was time well spent with my parents. Haha.
Thank God for journey mercy and safety during this trip as I nearly met with an unfortunate incident. I do not know how real it was but it’s better to believe than not to believe. This incident has made me really convinced that asking God for journey mercy and safety is very important and God was protecting me all these while.
What unfortunate incident? Well, it seems that an old man on a public bus in JB wanted to molest me. I was quite shocked when I learnt of it. A kind man had thrown me a piece of paper and I was wondering which crazy idiot did that when I saw the words on the paper. The note asked me to change seats as the old man behind me was trying to molest me!
I glanced around but could not see what the old man sitting behind me was doing. I hesitated for a moment, wondered if the other guy was being overly sensitive but I decided to change seats. I then saw the old man behind me with both his hands on the seat handles or rather in between the handles. I did not feel anything earlier on but just kept on hearing the old man behind making a lot of noises and being very fidgety.
A few minutes later, the old man got off at his supposed destination and the guy who threw me the note told me he had been observing the old man for some time and he felt that the old man was up to no good. Well, thank God nothing happened and thanks be to God for this “angel?”
It’s a relief yet a shock as I was not dressed skimpily! I was only wearing a sleeveless top and capri pants and looking extremely unkempt. Maybe it was because I am a young nubile thingie. Haha.
